With more than 25 years of experience, I bring creative solutions, integration, and exceptional results to the communication efforts of small businesses, nonprofits, and public agencies. I love working with people who are passionate about their business and mission, and I’m told my enthusiasm for what I do is contagious.
Much of my work has involved developing a full range of communication, marketing, and public relation services for organizations in a variety of industries, such as financial services, health care, law, nonprofit, retail, technology, and transportation.
Prior to launching SQM Communications in 2013, I led communication and PR strategies at one of the largest law firms in the U.S., as well as CHRISTUS Santa Rosa, United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, Mothers Against Drunk Driving. I began my career in public broadcasting at KLRN in San Antonio where I learned the importance of establishing strong relationships, managing a range of communication projects, and achieving measurable results.
I earned a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Texas at San Antonio and studied art history as a visiting student at the American University of Paris.
I serve on the board of directors of the Historical Society of Helotes. I am a member of the Dean's Advisory Council of UTSA's College of Liberal and Fine Arts. I am also a freelance journalist for Helotes News.
I live in Helotes, in the house where I grew up with my husband, Patrick, and our beautiful little Zoe.
